How to Choose the Right TV
- Screen size: 32 inch suits small rooms and viewing distances of about 1 to 2 metres. 43 inch and above suit living rooms with seating 2 metres or more from the screen.
- Resolution: HD is fine for small screens. Full HD gives a sharper picture on 40 inch and larger, and 4K is best for big screens and streaming in high quality.
- Smart platform: Google TV and Android TV give you access to YouTube, Netflix and the Google Play store. Samsung uses Tizen for streaming apps.
- QLED: adds richer colour and brightness compared with a standard LED panel.
- Ports and connectivity: check for HDMI, USB and Wi-Fi, especially if you plan to connect a PS5, decoder or soundbar.
- Free-to-air channels: ask our team to confirm the built-in digital tuner for the exact model you choose.
